Nassir Little for SLAM Magazine

Nassir Little is a top 10 recruit from Orlando Christian Prep who is committed to play at the University of North Carolina. I was given the assignment to photograph the 6'7" basketball standout at his high school in Orlando. We needed to shoot some portraits in his uniform and some with street clothes on outside of the gym. My assistant, David Cooke, and I arrived early to scout where we could shoot outside the gym. We found a couple spots that worked. One was a small playground just off of the back of the gym that had some swings on artificial grass and the other was what appeared to be an alley way with a staircase right off of the side of the gym. What can I tell you about Nassir other than basketball stats you can search on google? Super nice kid, funny hearing myself say that because he towers over me, down to earth, a little quiet but has a big laugh. He took direction well and seemed to have fun while we were shooting.
